Question: Hi. I'd like ot know if I should be taking an iron supplement. I am 61, female, and enjoy life. I work out at a gym. 3 times a week. Several months ago I had anemia. What do you think? I am often tired from my mental health meds.

Iron supplement should be taken when iron and ferritin levels are low in blood exams

If they are normal than you dont need to take iron supplements.
