Are Parkinson's Disease And Alzheimer's Disease Related To MS?

Question: my neurologist is checking for MS and lyme as possible explanations for all my symptoms which have been worsening. My father, his mother and grandfather all had parkinsons and Alzheimer's. are they neurological diseases related to MS?

Are all diseases autoimmune?

MS is an autoimmune disease, however, PD and AD are not autoimmune in nature. PD and AD are neuro-degenerative diseases.
