My wife is 4 month pregnant but right now there is no movement of baby . Last monthultrasoundreport is ok. Now we are worried as there is no baby movement
Hai im Dr.Subramanian
Welcome to HCM
MOVEMENT OF THE BABY PERCEIVED BY THE MOTHER IS CALLED AS QUIKENING.
IT WILL BE USUALLY SEEN ONLY BY 5MONTHS OF PREGNANCY.
SO YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE ABSENCE OF MOVEMENTS AS YOUR WIFE IS ONLY 4 MONTHS PREGNANT.
IF THERE IS ANY QUERY KINDLY REVERT BACK.
the ultrasound showed no pregnancy
it takes time for USG to show pregnancy. Atleast of its 3-4weels gestation. wait for one more week OR go for beta hCG level.
is doing lots of ultrasound during pergnancy cause harm to the baby with all the radiation like every other month doing a ultrasound
Thanks for consulting us.
So far ultrasound is considered safe in pregnancy. you can do it as often as required by your doctor. It only utilizes sound waves & no radiation.
So, don't worry at all.
