Should silverex be applied sparingly or generously on burns?
I m using silverex on a burn on my chest that I got from hot water. The instructions say I should apply a generous amount but I read here you say it should be applied sparingly so as not to form a cake which mine is doing and also so that the skin can breath. Which is which?

Silverex is an antibiotic ointment and it prevent secondary bacterial of the burns wound but it has no role to play in the removal of the scar.
In burns there is a permanent and irreversible damage done to the skin due to which scar marks are formed.
If it is a superficial scar you may consult a dermatologist but if it is a deeper one the plastic surgeon's help is needed.
