i have a cough all the time, especially after i drink cold water, what is the remedy for this? thanks.
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Cough after drinking cold water can be due to irritation of the throat mucosa.
Discontinue drinking cold water.
Gargles with luke warm water will provide relief to the mucosa.
If the cough does not get relieved even after that, you can use cough suppressant.
You need to consult your physician for prescription of cough suppressant.
Thanks and take care

I was operated for hernia and enlargement of prostate (TURP) two weeks ago. when can I resume driving my car?
Probably, you are operated for inguinal hernia,as it is at the junction of lower abdomen with thigh and the repair may take sometime to heal,it is advisable to go for driving after 6-8 weeks to allow the surgical incision to get healed other wise recurrence may occur.
Thank for asking to HCM
