What Could Cause Bitterness & Loss Of Taste In Diabetic Patients?

Greetings I am writing on behalf of my mother. She is 74, has had diabetes for over 10 hrs. Recently had an MRI of the brain that revealed several smal strokes. She complains of loss of taste. Currently on 2 antibiotics for bronchitis. Feels dizzy. What could this bitterness and loss of taste be attributed to? Thanks

hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir/ mam, The bitterness and loss of taste, dizzyness are some of the rare side effects of antibiotic. The reason is attributed to antibiotic therapy she is having now. Everything sets to normal after a week of completion of therapy.

Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.
