Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Firstly, it is important to note that zopiclone is a sedative medication that is used to treat insomnia. It is not recommended for long-term use because of its potential for dependence and addiction. Taking 7-8 tablets a day is a concerning amount, and it is understandable that you are feeling desperate to get off them.

It is not clear what eglonyl is, as there are no medications with that name approved for use in the United States. If you are considering taking another medication to help with your anxiety or panic attacks, it is important to discuss this with your doctor, who can provide personalized advice and guidance.

Abruptly stopping this medication can cause withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, and seizures. In addition to medication, there are other strategies that can help with managing anxiety and panic attacks. These may include therapy, relaxation techniques, exercise, and lifestyle changes such as improving sleep hygiene and reducing caffeine and alcohol intake.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
