Suggest Medication For Recurring Skin Infection On Face

I think I have a skin infection on my face. It keeps traveling. I ve had MRSA and the drs prescribed oral antibiotics, and a skin cleanser...this had been happening for years now. My boyfriend had it also, and they gave him antibiotics orally and intravenously. Am I being treated correctly? His never came back.

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of recurring skin infection on face which is mainly due to staph infection on your skin i.e bacterial infection. I would suggest you to wash your face and skin around infection with antibacterial face wash.

Take antibiotic course such as Azithromycin or you can take Augmentin as well. Start applying antibacterial cream such as triple antibiotic or Neosporin. You can apply ointment rich in Azelaic acid, it will give immediate effects. Treatment given to you is correct one. Complex Polymyxin B ointment is also an effective one.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
