Suggest Medication For Skin Infection

I started itching a few days ago. I used Canesten because i thought it was normal thrush, but the itching reduced in intensity only slightly, so I used 500mg Canesten pessaries, but it didn t subside. So i used Gyno-Daktarin pessaries and ended up with a light orange discharge this morning. What exactly am i dealing with here?

Hi,

Most probably this is not a fungal infection since antimycotics didn't work. Do a vaginal smear to check the type of infection. May be you need to use antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
