Lump In Underarm, Yellow Discharge. Taken Amoxicillin, Iodine. What To Do?

Good morning Doc..I'm just a poor girl and don't have money to consult a doctor that's why i land here on inet..I had a lump in my under arm for over 2 weeks and i Start taking amoxicillin 3 days ago..th pain is gone and there is some yellow liquid come out with blood..don't have any idea what do u call with that and i clean it also wolith povidone iodine betadine..what else can i do with it Doc?

Yellow discharges or purulent discharges are synonymous to an abscess and all abscesses have to be incised and drained abundantly.

You need to drain the abscess abundantly by extensive pressure on it so as to get the pus completely out and clean with your iodine.

Antibiotics like your amoxicillin may help but the main treatment is extensive drainage.
