Have Pea-sized Lump On My Vagina, Painful. Appears Fluid-filled. Cure For Symptoms?

I have a painful, pea-sized lump on my vagina, about 1/2 inch to the left of my clitoris. It is painful to the touch and appears to be slightly more firm than if it were fluid-filled. I am without insurance do to a job-change until at least October, and there are no planned parenthoods or free-clinics in my local area. Please advise what this lump may be and possible remedies for alleviating my symptoms.
