Diagnosed With Hyperthyroid. Do I Need To Take The Medicines Throughout My Life?
Recently my dr suggest to do thryoid test after seeing results he says its hyperthyroid because my tsh Level is 55.4 he say i need lifelong medications is it true i very much upset is any other way to treat this hypothryoidism. My age is 32-male , weight is 90kg, he prefers thynorom tablets for one month duration after that test to know the treatment.
What your doctor suggested is true. Most of the people with hypothyroidism (in simple language whose TSH is more than normal) need to take replacement therapy of L-Thyroxine for the rest of their life. I would say, it has the simplest way to maintain it in normal range- just by popping one tablet every morning! there are diseases or disorders of many other deficiencies which need to accept difficult replacement therapies like daily injections etc. So that way deficiency of thyroid hormone is very much a simple and common problem. There sure is not any alternative therapy for hypothyroidism than just changing the name of the brand of the medication. Take it positively; this isn't something that you should be so upset about. Do get back to me if you have any related queries. Take care.
