Delayed Periods, Pain In The Lower Abdomen, Cramping, Nausea And Dizziness. Pregnancy Test Negative. Other Cause?

Hey. Please help if able to.
I am 14 days late but I keep getting negative pregnancy tests. I have been getting occasional sharp pains in my lower abdomen and side (left side). I have been cramping for 3 to 4 days now. Feels like I'm gonna start my period but never do. I have had some syptmos like..... Neusea, sore breast, dizziness, tired, lower back pains. I don't have a doctor nor can I afford to get one. I have no insurance. What could be my problem?

Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

It appears you could either expect your pregnancy soon, due to the symptoms you are experiencing which could be a hormonal effect, or you could have an infection or pelvic inflammatory disease. Infections are one of the most common cause for a delay in periods or irregularity in periods.

I would also advise you to repeat a urine pregnancy test using an early morning urine sample, which would yield the most accurate result, as your symptoms could also be due to a pregnancy; and so this will have to be adequately ruled out.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
