Periorbital melanosis can be due to anemia,stress, lot of computer/laptop usage.
Effective oral and topical medications are now available for Hyperpigmentation around eye.

My advise to you would be to use topical Glyaha cream with good moisturizer.
Take vitamin C tablets daily.

Few treatments like microdermabrasion and chemical peel can help to treat periorbital melanosis effectively.

Discuss these options with your dermatologist.

hi. The treatment of any disease lies in solving the underlying cause. Periorbital melanosis or dark circles have variable causes like chronic disesase(iron deficiency, thyroid disorder, atopy, allergic rhinitis)lifestyle factors(stress, anxiety,long waking hours , more use of laptops, vision strain), hereditary factors, physiological pigmentary demarcation lines and localised factors(thin under eye skin along with micro leaks of blood through underlying fineblood vessels). The treatment involves lifestyle modification that is improving your sleep pattern, treating the underlying disease that is anemia or thyroid disorder and use of various topical depigmentary undereye creams. Also peels specifically meant for thin undereye skin and mesotherapy sessions could be used. However hereditary and physiological pigmentary lines are difficult to treat. Dark circles are quite stubborn as they take long time treatment to go, so perseverence with any treatment is required. Hope that slves your query,take care
