14 Month Baby, Cold And Cough. Nebulising With Atrovent, Giving Sinecode, Fenistil Drops. Is This Safe?

Dear doctor,

My 14 months old baby is suffering from cough and cold for past one week. Initially I was nebulising him with atrovent 1ml mixed with normal saline 2ml. since the effect is slow I have started him with sinecode 15 drops and fenistil 15 drops. Is it safe to nebulize him with atrovent while on both syrups? Please advise.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
Atrovent is a bronchodilator usually given in case of Asthma
The syrups you are using are for cough and cold
But i feel the dose is small for a 14 months baby
Hence it is better to consult a pediatrician and give proper medicine in proper dose depending on the weight of the baby
