11 Weeks Pregnant. Taking Folinal Plus, Susten Tablets. How Long Should Medication Be Continued?
Hi Doctor My Wife is into her 11th week of pregnancy and is taking Folinal plus tablets and Susten tablet for past many weeks..Would like to know how long would she be continue to take these tablets ..The doctor we are consulting suggested to continue till 3 months and then start calcium tablets which she has prescribed..kindly advise

hi there, your obstetrician has rightly advised to continue those tablets for 3months ie first trimester and then they may be discontinued. From 4th month or 2nd trimester she should be started on calcium and iron suppliments. Follow the advise of the obstetrician, take a healthy diet and adequate rest and everything should be fine. Take care.
