Blood Donation And Diseases

I would like to donate blood , but do they have all the medical test before they take the blood. In case if there any disease do they inform the person confidentially or do they inform this details any blood bank or any other places. Let say by accident the innocent person is coming to know that he has HIV +. How will the result pass to the detonator.

blood test is done after collection of the blood and if found that the blood is infected it will be discarded and then the person will be personally informed.
