Can Chicken Pox Cause Pain On Sides And Back?

I am just starting to get over chicken pox. I am 54 years old and now I have numbness and bloating along with some pain on my sides and back. Is this cause for concern. It is just over 2 weeks since I came down with the chicken pox. I got them after my husband had shingles.
