Do I Require Surgery To Cure Bulging Disc After Having Anterior Cervical Discectomy And Fusion?

I got an ACDF for my c5 c6 on 4-10-13, then into an auto accident 10-9-13 (I was hit from someone turning left from the center lane while I was next to him, he wasn't paying attention). Anyways I now have a bulging disc above and below my plate. I had to take medical leave from work bcuz of the severity of whiplash. I went to physical therapy and she said there is nothing more she can so for me, I got injections into my neck and it isn't working. Is my next step surgery?

Hi
I think most of the conservative treatement you havr done which is to be done for bulging disc.
Now get a fresh mri done to know the extent of the disc. And consult at least two doctors because most of the time by cervical traction you may get relief. If ther is much pain still with numbnes in extremity you have to go for surgery.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
