What I Can Do To Relieve The Pain Of Chest Muscle Inflammation

I have chest muscle inflammation, I was told by a cardiologist to take naproxen . I was wondering what else I can do to relieve the pain?., I ve been using an ice pack every night when I sleep but the naproxen doesn t seem to be helping. the ice pack relieves the pain most of the time.

One of the more frequent causes of non-cardiac chest pain is chest wall pain, or musculoskeletal chest pain - that is, chest pain related to the muscles and bones of the chest wall.
Naproxen is a good anti inflammatory drug and your doctor has prescribed right medications. It takes time for inflammation to come down and it will definitely come down.
You can try Tab equiflex 1-0-1 for 3 or 4 days , take after food. You can stop naproxen for few days and try this. Continue ice packs, Dont lift heavy weights for a week. All the best
