Could Narrowing Of Vessel Be Cured Through Medications Or Angioplasty Is Imperative?
Hi,
My Name is Noor i am from Bangalore India, My father had an MI on 15/01/2014 for which he was given Elaxin which proved to be life saver. Later when we found him little Stable Angiogram was done which showed Narrowing of vessel.
The Doctor who has diagnosed him has suggested for Angioplasty, now i would like to know if it could be cured thorugh Medications or the surgery (Angioplasty) is imperative.
I have gone through your query. MI happens when there is poor blood supply to the heart muscle. It usually happens when there more than 70-80% block in the coronary artery. Since you haven't mentioned the findings of Coronary Angiography, you have to follow your treating doctor's advise and go for the angioplasty. Yes, it can be cured with the medicines but if narrowing is less.
