Would Regular Contact With Diesel Cause Keratosis? And How To Treat This?

hi doctors i would like to ask about my father. that he has this keratosis i think because he has a scaly knuckles and he just put dermovate for about a long time now but did not disappear what would you say about this? he is an engineer and i think it s because of the diesel that he is touching. tnx

I can understand your concern for your father, the diesel have a corrosive property it may not cause keratosis, but of course can cause corrosive effect on skin and that may not be dry skin as you said the Keratosis is the dry skin condition and this is happens due to the deficiency of vitamin A I would advise you to better have opinion from dermatologist take care of your father have nice day.
