Worried For High Gestational Diabetes Level During Pregnancy

I am 31 weeks pregnant and have gestational diabetes. I have been dizzy and lightheaded since yesterday. My blood sugar levels were fine yesterday; however, I was 104 first thing this morning and 142 1 hr after breakfast. My levels went down to 120 s after lunch and dinner. Should I be concerned?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Your fasting blood sugar should be less than 90 mg/dl and 1 hour post meal blood sugar levels should be less than 120 mg/dl.
You should take a diabetic diet to control the blood sugars, and if controlled by diet alone, you may have to take insulin.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
