Will The Pregnancy Could Effect From The CMV Infection From Previous Pregnancy?

i had delivered still birth male baby on12\11\11 the baby had cord around his neck my doctor suggest me torch test my test result positive i had cmv infection positive now i am taking medicines torchnil ,imunocin,folinol for three months should i conceiv after that or not did my next baby suffer from any type of problem occures due to cmv infection.my age 29 hight 5.4 weight 54 if i deliever a baby at that time normaly did he had any problem due to that infection

Hello,
Firstly, as you mentioned that in the pregnancy loss you suffered, the baby had the cord around the neck and suffered a still birth, the significance of CMV infection should be thought again. Also, if you had the TORCH titres sometime after this delivery, it is also possible that you may have contracted the infection later on. Since you have taken treatment, you are safe and will remain immune to further infection. You should attempt another pregnancy after completion of treatment and proclaimed clear by your doctor. Future pregnancies are unaffected in such circumstances. Hope this helps.
