Will Prolonged Use Of IVC Filter Be Safe?
I have an IVC filter that has been in place for more than a year. My previous hematologist, now retired, said it would be better to leave it alone since it has been there so long. My new hematologist thinks is should probably come out to eliminate future problems. So far, I have experienced no trouble. What would you recommend?

I PROBABLY CONSIDER YOU WERE FITTED WITH VIC FILTERS FOR PREVENTING PULMONARY EMBOLISM AND YOU HAD A CONTRAINDICATION FOR ANTOCOAGULANTS.
IF PRESENTLY THERE IS NO CONTRAINDICATION FOR ANTOCOAGULANTS USE, THE IVC FILTER CAN BE SAFELY REMOVED
