General & Family Physician Dr. Pragnesh Vachharajani's  Response
Your body mass index is 27,normal is your ideal weight is around 55kg.going to gym is welcome step.Regular exercise tones your muscle and helps you to burn more calories then usual.after stopping exercise your body will stop burning that extra calories but sudden rebound in weight loss will not happen.after quitting gym you are advised to do regular exercise in other forms like walking, skipping rope not forget that diet planning is essential with any exercise for good results.
