Will Infection In Uterus Cause Missed Abortion?

I recently had a spontaneous abortion at 10 weeks pregnancy. The gynecologists think it was actually a missed abortion, that it was dead for some weeks before it all came out. Is it possible that i had an infection of the uterus despite the fact that I didnt have any symptoms of it? No fever, the blood didnt smell anything..I am so worried that I had an infection in the uterus and that it will make me unable to conceive again. Thanks

1.Yes, any uterine cause can cause missed abortion.
2.Generally in presence of any pathology of uterus, some symptoms will be seen.
3.Howevre there can be other causes in the uterus which will cause abortions ( presence of mass, adenomyosis, endometrial causes and ovarian pathologies.
4.You don't have to worry, it may not happen every time. First thing you have to get an ultrasound pelvis done to check the status of uterus and ovaries - after the abortion which is done after missed abortion.
5.You will conceive again - if cause identified and treated.
