Will Eye Boils Cause Any Retina Damage?

Hi, I have eye Boils from last 2 months. Initially it started with one boil then it has developed one below upper eye lid and 2 in bottom eye lid. I am currently applying Neosprine Oinment at night and cleaning 2 time with Hot water-cotton. Is there any chance of damage to my ratina due to this?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having recurrent eye boils for last 2 months. The treatment by hot compression and use of antibiotic eye ointment like neosporine is in right direction and you can continue it.
Along with this you need to use anti-inflammatory drugs.
Boils will not have any effect on the retina and it will not cause retinal damage.

Thank you
