Hello,
Your symptoms suggest uterine cramps and as there is also associated spotting, it is essential that you get help immediately from your health care provider. Take absolute bed rest, avoid all strenuous activity and sexual intercourse, and take adequate liquids. The trans-vaginal sonogram should clarify if there is any bleeding and also the viability of the pregnancy. If everything is fine, rest and observation and hormone supplementation if needed, usually deal with the problem. The bleeding will subside on its own. Else, further management is necessary. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
