24 year old female with left lower back and sacroiliac pain, foot drop of the left foot with hyperreflexia and clonus also decreased sensation (light touch and pinprick) left lower lateral leg.... so my question is what are some of the possible differentials for these contrasting findings? will an UMNL cause peripheral manifestations and vice versa?

Hmm a neurological problem is really a difficult thing man. There are many things which are out of your control. So it is essential to take all the possible treatments meaning drugs, physiotherapy, etc. Ofcourse medicines form a vital part for the improvement.
