hi I had TB when I was 24 years old I took medician nine months and got ok, however as now I am 37 years old and not married , I found some blood in my sputum with some symptoms like mild fever continouls dry cough till 2 months and then it turn into irritation of throat and airy wihile and some time yellow sputum. recently I found some small clot of blood in my sputum and I went to sputum test and its become +fb with the result of pus cells +, Epithelial cells occasional. my chest also shows sheds and patches I am scared that if I will get treated will I be get healed and what diet and practices I take to avoid it as I work in area where I am exposed to TB Patients and Patients with number of related disease.do you think I will be cure 100% after this treatment and I can go back in same work enviornment I mention above or I need to change my work conditions.
So, even if you had TB in past which was cured, new infection can cause relapse of TB. So, it is quite possible that you might be having TB again.
Better to consult pulmonologist and get done chest x ray and sputum report. Also rule out MDR (MultiDrug Resistance) TB.
You will need 9-12 moths of anti-tubercular drugs. Don't worry; you will be alright after finishing the course. Eat high protein diet like pulses, vegetables, eggs and Wear mask at your work place.

So, even if you had TB in past which was cured, new infection can cause relapse of TB. So, it is quite possible that you might be having TB again.
