Will Lisinopril Cause Poor Eye Sight?

I m taking lisinopril for high blood pressure for the last year or so, I have noticed my eye sight in my right eye has gotten worse starting about four months ago. I told the eye doctor during an exam about three months ago that my regular doctor said I was borderline diabetic and that at the time I was under a lot of stress, could the lisinopril be causing the problem

Lisinopril is a blood pressure medication. It causes side effects in some patients. The most common side effect is a persistent cough. While most Lisinopril side effects are harmless, you should be aware of serious side effects, which can indicate an allergic reaction.
Vision loss or impairment is unlikely because of Lisinopril alone.
Since you're hypertensive and borderline Diabetic too, I suppose you check your Fundoscopy from an Ophthalmologist done as soon as possible. Both Hypertention and Diabetes are causes of eye pathologies.
