Will Dianette Cause Anxiety And Sleeping Problems?

Hi I was wondering if dianette can cause anxiety and trouble sleeping? I have PCOS and have been on various types of contraceptives since I was 17. I am 21 now. I have tried microglycin (think that s what it is called) yasmin and femidon. Yasmin was horrible and I apparently became immune to femidon. Is there any other pill out there I can try as I feel that dianette is making me feel like an emotional wreck? Thanks

Hi,

Dianette is a combined contraceptive pill which can cause mood changes or sleep disturbances as side effect. Most of the side effects reduce with time as your body adjusts to the new hormone levels. Combined hormonal contraceptives especially ones containing drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol may help relieve symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
