Will CBC Or Differential Blood Count Show Any Abnormalities Now?

Hello!I had unprotected sex 3,5 years ago.I never had any symptom,my differential blood count is perfect and i feel healthy.I am with my partner 3 years and he is hiv negative.Is it possible that i have hiv?Should cbc or differential blood count show any abnormalities after all this time?Thank you!

Thnx to contact us. I understand your concern.

If I am your treating doctor I advice you that HIV cant be hidden for such a long time if you are infected with than it will become obvious from now. Secondly it is not shown on CBC or differential WBC counts. If you want to screen yourself for just mental satisfaction I advice you to go for rapid antibody testing for HIV. It is a immunochromatographic test that detects antibody against HIV 1 & 2.

As anal sex is a high risk activity ,I guess you ate taking precautions (protected sex) in having relationship with your partner.
You can't suspect HIV looking at WBC or differential .
You need to undergo HIV tests to confirm your suspicion.
