Will Adderall Taken 36 Hours Before Urine Drug Test Show Up?
Hello, I underwent a urine drug test on Monday morning, approximately 36 hours after I took a 10mg Adderall. Would there have been enough of the amphetamine metabolites left in my system to have been detected by the urine test (typical detection threshold of 500-1000 ng/ml)? I am a 6 1 , 200 lb. male with a high metabolism and drank probably 2-3 liters of fluids during this 36-hour period. I also did ~15 minutes of intense cardio exercise during this time. Thank you.

Adderall generally can be detected in urine within 24-48 hours of intake of last dose depending on many factors like amount of dose, length of duration of taking Adderall, Rate of metabolism of the individual, health status of the individual, particularly, of kidney and liver.
However, in some cases, Adderall can be detected in urine even up to 4 days. Doing intense physical exercise is not advised, after taking Adderall, as Adderall itself can raise the pulse & BP, so is exercise itself, therefore sometimes resulting in a sudden increase in BP or pulse rate. However, taking adequate fluids, may definitely increase its rate of clearance from the body to a minor extent.
