Does Adderall Intake Produce False Positive Drug Test Results For Metabolites?

Hello, I take adderall and have for a few months now. I have a drug test coming up that uses urine, blood, and hair testing methods. I ve heard a rumor that the metabolite benzoylecgonine will possibly show up in these tests. Considering this is a metabolite found from cocaine as well, I was wondering how much taking adderall will mess with my results..? I guess I could have a note from my doctor about my prescription as well.

Adderall is an amphetamine, so it will show up in drug tests as amphetamine, not benzoylecgonine which is a metabolite of cocaine. Typically when you are getting a drug test, you need to report beforehand what drugs you are prescribed so they will know that it will be showing up on the test. Your best bet is to have your doctor give you a note and/or bring in the prescription bottle to the people doing the drug test so they can see it is legitimate. It will certainly show up in the tests but if it is already known you have a real prescription, it won't count against you. Hope this helps.
