Hi Welcome to

Proluton is Hydroxyprogesterone. It is a progesterone derivative. It supports placental function. Naturally placenta produces progesterone to support its growth. Still doctors supply artificial progesterone for additional support for placental growth. There is evidence that it prevents abortion.
