Why Do I Have Abdominal Pain During Bowel Movement?

I have a specific lower sharp/ach pain then I have a bowel movement. This last movement was the worst yet and it also made my penis ach from the inside out. After movement, the pain is now dull and burning. I am 36 years old 5 10 350 lbs male. Thanks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The issue of pain in lower abdomen may be from loaded colon or hard stool in a single instance, but if on a repeated basis, then intestine pathology as narrowing, diverticula or else have to be evaluated with colonoscopy.

* The penis curve has nothing to do with the bowel movement and the same should be addressed to your urologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
