Why Do I Have A Sharp Pain In My Elbow After Pghlebotomy?

i have a question ablout flobotany, i had blood drawn and im not a wuss about needles, but when he stuck it in it felt like he hit a nerve. today i have been feeling a sharp tingling pain down my left arm and when i move it from extended tto flexed it clicks and hurts it feels like the nerve inside my elbow

During phlebotomy, it is possible to damage the surrounding tissues, such as muscle, nerves, with the needle.

In most cases the damage is minor and resolves on its own in time. It can take sometimes up to a few days for the area to return to normal.

The use of one of the following anti inflammatory pain killers such as naproxen, ibuprofen, aspirin or cataflam may help but if your discomfort is severe, then you may want to see your doctor.
