Hi I had blood taken today as I have b12 and folate deficiancy the nurse tried both arms and could not get blood she then tried my hand and took the sample although it was very painful. When I returned home my hand had swelled into a hard lump from my knuckle to my wrist and it was painful and caused loss of feeling in my fingers what had caused this lump?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having extravasation of blood producing hematoma.
Apply ice pack for 2-3 days.
Apply thrmombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
