Why am I having breathing problems when I fly by plane ?

Hi i am 30 yrs old male... Five years back when i was travelling for first time by Air with my dad as i was enjoying my first time flying moment the flight was ready to take off suddenly i dont know what happen to me i felt like the oxygen inside plane is not enough i felt like i was strugling to breath I thought i was about to die... I was travelling from Bangalore to Mumbai i couldnt enjoy the moment i travelled upto mumbai putting oxygen mask I felt ashmed in front of all the passengers & small childrens inside the flight.. After this i have not travelled by air at all... What is the problem... I want to travel but i am scared again i may experience same problem....

Hi Uday, thanks for query.Normally the air inside the air craft have sufficient amount of oxygen.In normal time even during exertion if you are not having any breathing problem there is no need to worry.It is possible that what you had was just because of phobia of unknown.Next time when you fly,be light on your stomach and do deep breathing at the time of take off,you will surely not have any problem.
