Why I Am Having Dent In Biceps And Seems To Be Swelling Too ?

My father has a dent at the biceps of his left arm. the area below the dent seems to be swelling too. However, it does not seem to be causing any pain. Why is this happening, and what kind of problems is this going to cause? Edit: My father does not have diabetes , and has not received any injections recently.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Welcome to Healthcare Magic
Has he ever had his muscle pulled any time. Any trauma. It's possible he may have ruptured his tendon and caused swelling beyond that. How is his strength of arm. It is best he gets looked at by an Orthopaedician to rule out ruptured tendon by examination and scan if necessary and treatment accordingly.
