White Callus Like Appearance On The Vagina, Feeling Burning. Had Hysterectomy. Worried

I had a full hysterectomy on December 18, 2012. I had intercourse for the first time yesterday. It was a bit painful. A few hours later I noticed a light red spotting, Today, I am experiencing a tiny bit of burning and discomfort. Now, I notice a white callus-like appearance on the inner-lining at the opening of the vagina . My doctor will not be available to talk with me for another four days. Should I be worried?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bleeding as a result of intercourse can occur due to a number of reasons such as: (1) trauma as a result of intercourse especially if there is any vaginal dryness (2) changes in the cervix (3) cervical polyps or outgrowths (4) uterine polyps (5) infection
The white appearance may be due to either an infection or healing at any area of trauma.
In mucus or moist areas such as the vaginal area healing lesions may have this appearance.

You may want to consider visiting your doctor for an evaluation

I hope this helps
