When Will The Heavy Bleeding Stop In This Period?
I am a 46 yr old woman with history of (current) uterine fibroids and (past) ovarian cysts and endometriosis. My current period is now on day 12 with significant heavy bleeding - visited OB/GYN two days ago and was told period will vary and only option is hysterectomy. How LONG should this current period go on before I seek a 2nd opinion to simply stop the bleeding? Is 3 wks too long? Continue to "wait and see"?
