OBGYN 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
The sudden deterioration in his health seems to be due to the depression only.Without any further attacks there is no other organic reason for his deterioration of health. He needs some emotional support and a motivation and some inner strength to get better.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist Praveen's  Response
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic
You have to consult an Necrology doctor. Physiotherapy treatment is good for your father. Electrical stimulation and exercises are very helpful to recover muscle power.
Exercises play important role here because it will regain the muscle power because if he stop the exercises it may create other deformities as well as motivation and emotional support is very important for the patient.
Wish your father recover very soon
Thanks

Hello Doctor, I have these queries for my father, he just had a paralysis attack and his left side of the body is affected. left arm is the highly affected part and left leg is still operaionl lets say by 50% and the face is also affected and he is having problem in apeaking. I am in deep pain right now because i am not with my father as i was in a different country for work. but i am going back home within 3-4 days. What do you think is the situation permanent or temporary and what can we do other than the medical support like diet part and what extra should we give him so it can help him to move his body parts working gradually. My psychiatrist added 25 mcg of liothyronine, I started taking it Thursday 3-19, to be increased to 50 mcg after one week to augment my depression that has been resistent to other antidepressants. I don t have enough energy to leave the sofa. I also have panic disorder. I have gained about 35 lbs. in about nine months. I m nervous after reading some of the reviews. Should I be. How long can I safely take this medication. Will my thyroid stop producing the harmone naturally if I stay on this medication? When I come off will my thyroid be normal? I have very high hopes that this will increase my metabolism and give me the energy I m lacking and aid in my depression. Thank you
