What Treatment Is Suggested For A Low Lying Tonsil ?

Hi I am 41 yrs old in 2008 I was in a car accident and I was injuried in my C5-6 disc protrution and my L5 herniated L4 and 3 disc bulge and now I had symptoms of a TIA but they told me today I have a low lying tonsil could this be worse due to the accident I was in and will I need surgery to fix it?

In your query when you refer to tonsil if you mean the palatine or the common tonsil found in the throat then low lying or not if that does not cause any infection of block then you have nothing to worry about.

But if your report refers to the cerebellar tonsils; it is a different ball game altogether. In this case you must consult a neurosurgeon as soon as possible and also place this question in the brain and spine section of our website
