What To Do If Having Pain In The Nose, Pounding Headache, Eyepain After Septoplasty And Turbinate Reduction?

Hi, I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction eight days ago. The recovery is going fairly well, but tonight my nose aches, it feels cold, runny and tingly, my forehead is pounding and I have serious eye ache (although it is 4:11am London, so that could be due to lack of sleep) are these things normal? Also, I can breath through my nose a bit now, and sniff, when I do, the nostrils expand a bit and make a whistling sound but no pain. Should I refrain from doing that? Also, I'm ashamed to admit, I picked the dried blood a few times, my doctor said that shouldn't have done me any harm. What do you think?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
that's quite normal
sniffing if leading to sound ,it means there is some obstruction in ur nose
better use saline nasal drops to clear that stuff from nose
don't try to blow much ,which leads to tear in mucus of ur nose which is recently operated
