Hello,

I suppose you meant "Allergex" which is an antihistamine. I don't know of any drug called "allegex" and couldn't find it on the internet.

Antihistamines may indeed cause drowsiness and they're not effective against pain.

Perhaps this is a misunderstanding. I suppose your doctor has prescribed it for an allergic reaction or dermatitis? You'd better clarify this issue with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
