What To Do For Numbness In The Ear?

I am 52 years old and have been a diabetic for the last ten (10) years. Having lost forty (40) pounds and following a strict exercise routine I have been able to better control my blood sugar levels with two (2) metformin tablets three (3) times daily down from 70 units lantus and two (2) metformin tablets twice daily. About two (2) days ago I experienced low blood pressure 97/66.Today I accidentally discovered the helix and scapha area of my left ear is numb. I had a very serious inner ear infection about this time last year that has since healed. There was total hearing loss at that time and it took about six (6) months before hearing was restored. I hope that I have given enough info to be advised concerning this numb sensation as described above,

It also can cause malignant otitis media causing a long illness of long duration.
It is great to know that you could not only reduced weight but also get a great control over the diabetes. Get clinical evaluation and examination of the ENT and also the blood tests so that we can come to a conclusion.
