I have a question about miscarriages..... I know I m experiencing one right now well for the last 2-3 days meaning ive bleed here and there but now I m just getting these painful sharp cramps n my stomache its mostly on my right side where my stomache is hurting..and than down by my vagina its really hurting me off and on,but my main question is what kind of tests will the doctors run on me to c whatever ??
well, firstly would perform a pregnancy test again for documentation. then they would do a per speculum exam per vaginally to see the condition of the cervical opening if its closed or open or if any products of conception are seen at the os, if yes they would be removed. then they would do a transvaginal ultrasound to estimate the endometrial thickness, and to see if cmplete abortion has ensued. if ET is more than 8m then they would give you tab misoprostol for helping you to evacuate completely. regards
